Maker’s Mark® is still handcrafted the way our founders, Margie & Bill Samuels Sr. intended when they invented it in 1953. Each label is hand-cut, every barrel is hand rotated, and each bottle is hand-dipped in our signature red wax. Bottled at 90 proof, and made with red winter wheat, each part of the process is carefully considered to produce a smoother tasting whisky. Purposefully made by hand, the wheated mashbill provides a sweeter and softer flavor profile maximizing flavors without the bite.
